ADODE MEETS SUPERVISORY COUNCILLORS, AND CONGRATULATES THEM ON THEIR EMERGENCE

***Urges Them To Be Diligent In Their Assigned Responsibilities

The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Godwin Adode JP had an inaugural meeting with Supervisory Councillors after their inauguration to strategize modalities in driving the smooth running of his administration.

The Council Boss meeting with the supervisory Councillors took place earlier today 19th May, 2023 at the Council Secretariat after being screened, confirmed by the Ughelli North Legislative Arm led by the Legislative Leader; Rt. Hon. James Efenedo earlier on.

In his opening remark, the Ughelli North Council Boss, Hon. Adode urged the Supervisory Councillors to be diligent and exceptional in their respective duties, stressed that their appointments are not for personal gains but to contribute to the success of the administrative goals of the Local Government in all ramifications.

“I want to congratulate you all on your appointments as Members of the Local Government Executive Council, your appointments are not for personal aggrandizements but a call to serve, to bring in new ideas and expertise that will help in driving this administration to success, you must be exceptional in your respective portfolios and as well be of good conducts when discharging your duties”, Adode added.

The newly constituted Executive Council are; Hon (Bldr) Emoefe Ediri Peace as Supervisory for Works, Hon Elohor Uwhobe as Supervisory Councillor for Health, and Chief Michael Akpobasa as Supervisory for Environment.

Others include; Hon. Esegbowa Simon Egbe as Supervisory for Agriculture and Comr. Ikomoni Evuarherhe Evans as Supervisory for Education/Community Development. Also in attendance was Hon Igogono Okiemute Goddey Secretary to Local Government, Ughelli North Local Government.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated Supervisory Councillors, Hon Peace Emoefe thanked the Council Chairman (Adode) for the confidence reposed in them, promised to justify it through competence, loyalty, and readiness to work effectively without fear or favour in order to move the Local Government to an enviable height.
