The Agbarha Youth Council (AYC) has expressed deep appreciation to the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, for what it described as his “unwavering commitment” to the cleanliness and development of Agbarha-Otor Kingdom.

In a statement signed by the Council’s President, Coach Rufus Ovotu, the youths praised the Chairman’s recent intervention through the provision of sanitation machines which, according to them, has transformed the environmental condition of the community.

The statement noted that the clearing of debris and refuse from key locations such as Slaughter Road, Emevor Road, Ibru College, Superbru, Agbaide, and Saniko had greatly improved both the hygiene and aesthetic appeal of the area.

“We acknowledge the significant impact your intervention has had on the overall well-being of our people,” the statement read. “Your promise to deploy a swamp buggy to clear the Orime stream, thereby improving water flow, further demonstrates your dedication to the progress of Agbarha-Otor Kingdom.”

The Youth Council also renewed its earlier appeal for the construction of three mini bridges at Ukpebitere Street, Slaughter Road Junction, and Market Road by Orido Bakery. These, the group said, would ease movement and enhance access within the community.

AYC extended special appreciation to the Supervisory Councillor for Works, Hon. Lucky Oborayeruvwe, for his role in coordinating the exercise, as well as Hon. December Orido, Deputy Majority Leader, and Hon. Collins Arhiakpore, for their consistent support in advancing community projects.

“On behalf of the people of Agbarha-Otor Kingdom, we thank our visionary Chairman, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, for his tireless efforts and enduring commitment to the welfare of Ughelli North,” the statement concluded.
