Ekiti State, Nigeria – In a bid to ensure a smooth transition and effective governance, Dr. Otive Igbuzor, a renowned development expert and public servant, recently facilitated the induction program for members-elect of the 7th Ekiti State House of Assembly. The Retreat, themed: “Keeping Ekiti Working Through Responsible Legislation”, held at a prestigious venue in the state capital, Ado-Ekiti, brought together elected representatives from various constituencies to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills required for their legislative duties.

The Retreat is envisioned to provide a forum for the outgoing honourable members to share knowledge and experience with the members-elect to prepare them for the serious business expected of them after their inauguration and to provide them with good ground to begin the performance of their constitutional roles”, she further stated.
