The Okpara-Uku of Orogun, HRM Omoefe Ozenikpe 1, will confer the chieftaincy title of Ovieraye of Orogun Kingdom on Mrs Ese-Oghene Bridget Efe-Nogo.

The ceremony is billed for Monday 10th April 2023 at the Okpara-Uku’s Palace, Otorho-Orogun.

In a statement issued by the Omo Okpara-Uku, Chief Emmanuel Omoefe, through the Okpara-Uku-in-Council, said “the conferment is in recognition of the recipient’s contribution to the progress of humanity in general and Orogun in particular. Having distinguished herself as a Child Development Officer in the United States and also being a supportive wife to her husband, Chief Do-Good O. Efe-Nogo, who has also contributed so much to the development of Orogun, we think that it is the right thing to do.”

In her acceptance of the honour by the Okpara-Uku of Orogun, Mrs Efe-Nogo said she is overwhelmed and grateful, describing it “as quite timely and will eventually go a long way to inspire more women to contribute their quota to the development of the kingdom.”
