As you mark the momentous occasion of your 60th birthday, I am filled with joy and admiration for the remarkable leader and statesman you have become. Today, I raise my voice in celebration, felicitating with you on this special day. As I reflect on your journey in public service, I am reminded of the inspiring lyrics of the hymn, “Hold the Fort.”
Reinforcements now appearing, victory is nigh.
Throughout your illustrious career, you have exemplified true leadership and dedication to the welfare of our people. Your unwavering commitment to the advancement of our beloved country has left an indelible mark on our nation, and we are grateful for your selfless service. As you celebrate this milestone, I join in applauding your numerous achievements and the positive impact you have made on the lives of many.
“Hold the fort, for I am coming,” Jesus signals still;
Wave the answer back to heaven, “By Thy grace, we will.”
The hymn speaks of reinforcements appearing, and I am honored to share that I will soon join you on the 6th floor.
