The Ejiro & Otive Igbuzor Foundation is set to host the highly anticipated 16th Chief Demas Akpore Annual Memorial Lecture on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the school hall of the prestigious Government College, Ughelli, Delta State.

A statement signed by Mr. Monday Osasah affirms that the Memorial Lecture, established in 2008, stands as an annual tribute to the late Chief Demas Akpore, honoring his dynamic leadership and indelible contributions to the erstwhile Bendel State, now Edo/Delta States, and Nigeria at large. This annual gathering aims to stimulate public discourse on contemporary leadership and developmental paradigms.

Since its inception, the Foundation has actively executed various impactful initiatives, ranging from scholarships, the establishment of cooperative societies to foster savings and investments, an annual widows support program, Information Technology training, to the construction of the Niger Delta Resource Centre inaugurated in 2009.
