In the wake of the recent Supreme Court judgment that left members of the foremost political support groups, ‘Dr. Ruky Political Support Group’ in shock, The founder of the group, Olorogun Prof. Dr. Rukky Ugwumba has dropped hints about her political future. Quoting Sumner Redstone, Prof. Ugwumba expressed, “Success is not built on success. It’s built on failure. It’s built on frustration. Sometimes, it’s built on catastrophe.” In the face of this catastrophe, she appears to find inspiration, echoing Friedrich Nietzsche’s sentiment that adversity can lead to personal growth and resilience.

While the group acknowledges the defeat of their principal, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, with grace, Prof. Ugwumba appears to be preparing for a political comeback. Referencing Stoic philosopher Epictetus, she emphasizes the importance of choosing one’s response to external circumstances, hinting at a proactive approach to future challenges.

Addressing the group’s critics, the Founder of Jesu-Marie Empowerment Foundation declares, “To our critics, we are not done yet! Politics na wa! In 2027, there will be so many who want to hear from me, who want to hear from us! So here I am saying, stay tuned!! Do not leave us, please watch this space!”

Hello, members of Dr. RukyPoliticalSupportGroup!

It is now 8 days since the Supreme Court judgment, and the shock of it was catastrophic to me! I am still recovering!

“Success is not built on success. It’s built on failure. It’s built on frustration. Sometimes, it’s built on catastrophe.” – Sumner Redstone

Dealing with catastrophic disappointment can be incredibly challenging, but many great minds have offered wisdom on the subject.

As philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche said, “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.” This quote suggests that adversity can ultimately lead to personal growth, development, and resilience.

Additionally, Stoic philosopher Epictetus emphasized the importance of focusing on what is within our control, stating, “We can not choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.” This idea encourages individuals to find agency and strength in their response to disappointment.

Lastly, poet Rumi famously noted, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you,” conveying the idea that from pain and disappointment, there can emerge a deeper understanding and compassion.

We often turn to philosophy and religion to help deal with loss and encourage our drooping spirits, and we should not deny anyone their share of their own support to me, to this group, however they deem fit.

We are incredibly proud of our principal, HE Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for the way he handled himself throughout this period, in the face of extremely challenging circumstances, including conceding defeat graciously, in an election he actually won!

Conceding defeat with grace is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let me share 2 quotes about defeat to encourage all of us.

“Sometimes defeat is the price of wisdom.” – H. Jackson Brown Jr.

“Defeat may serve as well as victory to shake the soul and let the glory out.” – Edwin Markham.

I’ve received a lot of calls and messages about our defeat.. beginning from when I stepped out of the Supreme Court in Abuja on Friday, January 19, 2024, till date.

..so many messages so many, from supporters, some snigglers..fishing with bait?

(The term “sniggler” typically refers to someone who engages in the act of catching eels by fishing with baited hooks.)

How market na Dr❤️?

You think say you sabi politics pass me? I tell you since to come follow us work?

You nor go come follow us do MORE?

etc..

Anyways, I wish to thank everyone here sincerely for their show of love and support, even at a catastrophic time like this for me. But we nor die ooo…nobody died and infact it is far from over!

This platform was set up by me 21 months ago, on April 26, 2022, primarily in support of our Principal HE Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

This platform predates our nominating PBAT at our special presidential primaries a couple of months later, and though not an APC platform, we adopted all by extension, so all APC candidates for 5/5 were promoted here.

We gave it everything we had, championed by our gubernatorial candidate and leader of Delta APC, HE Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, in all the 25 LGA’s of Delta State. We campaigned day and night, night and day, 7 days a week for many many months, even before the official flag off!

Many people here used their personal resources, many donated to our fundraising effort, and many rallied for us!

Words seem insufficient to say thank you! But let me say just say, “Thank you, God bless you!!

To our critics, we are not done yet! Politics na wa! In 2027, there will be so many who want to hear from me, who want to hear from us! So here I am saying, stay tuned!! Do not leave us, please watch this space!

Wishing the current government of Delta State all the luck in the world to do their best for all Deltans and to be fair to all, even to those who did not vote them in.

May God bless our Principal HE Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and all the good people of Delta State, Amen!

May God bless all Nigerians and all our supporters all over this world, amen.

May God continue to give all of us renewed hope in Nigeria, and give our president people and tools, all he needs to succeed, as we thread these perilous financial times, IJMN, amen

Na me Dr ❤️
