IHRC Lauds Her Eminence, Princess Samuel’s Ultra-Modern Infrastructures to Atta Community

Ahead of the commissioning of an Ultra-Modern Toilet and Borehole Facilities built by Her Grace and Great Eminence, Distinguished (Ambassador) Princess Samuel Divine-Gift Onyinyeomachukwu MON, to Community Primary School Ogada-Atta Community in Imo State, the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) has expressed commendation, reiterating that many people in rural communities die or suffers waterborne diseases due to unavailable clean water in their areas.

IHRC’s Ambassador at Large and Head of Diplomatic Mission to Nigeria, H.E. Ambassador (Dr.) Duru Hezekiah made the encomium in a press release by its Head of Media and Strategic Communications, Mr. Fidelis Onakpoma on Thursday at Abuja, said that the invitation to Atta Community in commiseration with the UN-SDG Projects built by Her Eminence Princess Divine-Gift is a reflection of God’s timely response to Atta Community.

While expressing satisfaction, Dr. Duru noted that, he was at Waru Village in Apo Abuja a few days ago, to commission the sanitation facilities and double-seater desks built and donated to Waru Junior Secondary School, by Corper Umelo Chinazaekpere Favour, a sister to Princess Divine-Gift; stressing that the duo projects built by the sisters, Umelo and Princess, are essential and will help to promote community health and easily accessible water supply.

Dr. Duru added that providing a sustainable water source to Atta Community is ensuring its inhabitants stay free of diseases; they will be more healthy, and better able to go to school. In short, communities are stronger with the availability of clean water, so they can plan and prepare for whatever tomorrow brings.
