Omonade Extols Godstime Umukoro’s Commitment to Academic Excellence

I want to personally congratulate Master Godstime Nyerhovwo Umukoro, one of my constituents (from Ogor community) for his brilliance and unprecedented academic feat.

Nyerhovwo Godstime Umukoro, Esq., graduated from the Benson Idahosa University and the Nigeria Law School with a First Class Bachelor’s degree, and was also awarded Best Male Graduating Student.

I commend my brother and junior colleague not only for his catalogue of achievements, but also for staying committed and steadfast in maintaining such uninterrupted pursuit of academic excellence and for bringing the Urhobo nation and Delta in general to greater academic limelight.

With the following awards bagged by Umukoro at the Nigeria call to bar ceremony recently, there is no gainsaying that it is no mean feat worthy of celebration. This achievement further encourages parents to invest more on their children’s academics so as to put them in enviable pedestal.

Below are his awards:

  1. Sir Darnley Alexander K.B.E. award for the Best Student in Property Law.
  2. Justice Olujide Shomolu award for the Best Student in Civil Litigation.
  3. Justice J.O. Shofolahan award for the Best Student in Corporate Law Practice.
  4. Justice Ayo Irikefe, GCON award for the Best Student in Corporate Law Practice.
  5. Bonime Jackson Lott Foundation award for the Best Male Student of the Year.
  6. Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN award for the Overall Best Male Student of the Year.
  7. Nigeria Bar Association award for the Overall Best Male Student of the Year.
  8. Justice Mohammed Bello GCON award for the 2nd Best Student of the Year.

To this end, I happily extend my heartfelt congratulations to Godstime Nyerhovwo Umukoro, Esq., for his unwavering dedication and thirst for knowledge. He had A1 grade in all enrolled subjects of West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), and an impressive cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.92 respectively.

This is a feat that would continue to inspire generation of students to pursue their dreams, especially as the nation celebrates his academic accomplishments.
