You’re a Beacon of Hope: Adjerese Extols Omo-Agege at 60

Convener of the Omo-Agege Movement, Adjerese Barr. Oghene-Meshach Anuku, the Adjerese of Orogun Kingdom and Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orogun Kingdom, has felicitated the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege CFR on his 60th birthday, describing him as a beacon of hope to the Urhobo Nation and Nigeria at Large.

Adjerese Anuku in a congratulatory message signed by his Head of Communications and Public Relations, Fidelis Onakpoma, described Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, the immediate past Distinguished Senator representing Delta Central in the 9th Nigeria National Assembly, who clocked 60th on Wednesday, August 3, as a committed and selfless public servant, whose contributions toward the development of Nigeria’s socio-economic and political landscape remains outstanding.

He emphasized that Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is an experienced lawmaker, a respected politician, and a public officer, whose penchant for diligence and contributions to the nation in different capacities was worth emulating, stressing that he has displayed pragmatic leadership with selflessness and dedication, by rendering quality service to people of Delta Central, Delta State and Nigeria at Large.

Adjerese maintained that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is steadfast in defending the gains of the successful struggle to attain a recognizable level thereby paving the way for the socio-economic and political development of the State.

“Birthdays happen every year, yours every 3rd August; but special persons like you who sacrifice so much to serve humanity, become our reference point, imploring us to do even more from our modest standpoint”, Adjerese said.

“On this auspicious occasion of your birthday, we are united in supplication to God for Him to grant you continuous good health and the wisdom of Solomon, the type you have so far demonstrated in the conduct of our affairs, these past years”, he added.
