Love, faith, and family found graceful expression on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Ughelli, as Pastor Harrison Ogobene, the youngest son of High Chief (Dr) Emmanuel A. Ogobene (JP) of the Idejezue family, Imodje-Orogun, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, exchanged vows with his beloved, Rita Ejiro, daughter of Prince Ubogu Jonathan Okakoresiri of Okpe-Olomu in Ughelli South.

The solemn wedding ceremony, held at Ordained Pentecostal Christ Mission International, Ughelli, drew relatives, friends, and dignitaries from within and outside Delta State. A colourful reception followed at the Wetlands Event Centre, where guests celebrated the couple in an atmosphere filled with joy, dance, and music.
Among the distinguished guests were dignitaries from across the globe, including the President General of Orogun Kingdom, Chief (Barr.) E. T. Opone.

A touching highlight of the celebration came when High Chief Ogobene and his wife, Patience, took to the dance floor, radiating parental pride as they moved to the song “I Will Make Jesus Proud, I Pledge My Allegiance.” Their quiet joy reflected the gratitude of parents fulfilled by faith, family, and grace.
In his remarks, Chief Ogobene expressed heartfelt appreciation to all who honoured the invitation and shared in the family’s joy. He also extended a warm invitation to friends, associates, and well-wishers to join the Ogobene family once again for another joyous occasion—the traditional wedding of his beloved children, Hemmanuella Ogobene and Gbikeke Gideon.
The traditional ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Chief (Dr) Emmanuel A. Ogobene’s Country Home, Harmony Close, Imodje-Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.
The families of Chief (Dr) Emmanuel A. Ogobene (JP) of the Idejezue family, Imodje-Orogun, and Chief Emmanuel Gbikeke of the Ogbodogbo family, Ekrewore Quarter, Aladja Town, Udu Local Government Area, Delta State, jointly extend their cordial invitation to all.
